Zignum Silver tastes more like a tequila than a traditional mezcal. It’s made in Tlacolula de Matamoros, Oaxaca at a large, modern production facility. **Mezcal Joven is unaged and clear in color.  It means “young” in Spanish and it is bottled directly out of the still.**

Zignum Silver is unaged after distillation. It has slight notes of citrus and sweet green agave. Given it’s production processes, where the agave is steamed rather than smoked or roasted, this mezcal does not have a smoky character like mezcals made in a more traditional setting.
